Our Therapy Services
San Antonio Area School Districts
Offering in person and remote speech language services to districts within the San Antonio area. Services include comprehensive speech language evaluations, consultative services, direct group and individual therapy, supervision and more. Many districts are opting to outsource evaluations which may have accumulated due to COVID restrictions or to alleviate heavy workloads from district therapists often spread too thin. Bilingual Spanish evaluations available immediately. Consult services are often used to assist districts in analyzing data for compliance measures, designing therapy programs to increase student success outcomes, documenting as per special education law and reviewing district fiscal information for budgeting allocations. Direct therapy can be offered via in person or teletherapy options using current practices and ethical standards as determined by licensing board and state legislature.
Austin, Dallas and Houston
Districts outside the San Antonio area may be serviced for in person evaluations with prior scheduling and a daily minimum. Bilingual Spanish evaluations also available. Some districts have requested a review of timeline records to schedule both monolingual and bilingual evaluations throughout the school year. As an independent contractor, there is more flexibility to perform evaluations in a child's home if necessary in order to meet compliance deadlines.
*For all in person services, therapist can arrive equipped with PPE including mask, face shield, trifold plexiglass dividers, gloves etc. at district request.
Private Practice Therapy
Direct speech therapy available via teletherapy and some in person (San Antonio, dependent on location) on a private pay basis. Insurance is not accepted at this time. All New York residents are only offered a teletherapy option at this time. Teletherapy is becoming a leading platform for speech services among children and adults. Evidence based measures have determined services equivalent to face to face therapy when delivered by a qualified speech therapist. Teletherapy has proven a preferred modality for some students as it uses familiar technology which accelerates progress. As it is not deemed appropriate for meeting all speech language needs, please call the number associated with your state to discuss your child's needs.
